Special Needs Trust Program
The North Side Bank & Trust Co. is Trustee for
Special Needs Trusts through national programs called Charities
Pooled Trusts and Trustee PLUS+. Both programs use a
coalition of independent professionals working together to
provide transparent, safe, ethical, low-cost, and efficient
programs.
Charities Pooled Trust.
The purpose of Charities Pooled Trust (CPT) is
provide a safe Pooled Special Needs Trust program nationwide
that helps protect eligibility for Medicaid and Supplemental
Security income for disabled individuals while benefiting the
charities that help their needs. Charities Pooled Trust has
established processes and safeguards to provide a stable
long-term program to protect the beneficiaries continued
eligibility to receive government assistance benefits.
Trustee PLUS+
Trustee PLUS+ is a nationwide program for
administering settlement trusts and (d)(4)(A) Special Needs
Trusts. The Trustee PLUS+ program provides low cost services
with enhancements that are not normally found with traditional
trustees.
The program provides cooperative oversight by an
independent corporate trustee, a nationally recognized
investment advisor, a program administrator, state support
counsel, and a beneficiary advocate. There are no hidden fees
or self-dealing. There is no minimum funding amount.
