The Open SSL Heartbleed bug: What to do?
Change your passwords. The flaw found in OpenSSL which secures communications between your computer and
certain web sites, like internet banking, was vulnerable for 18 months before its discovery in April. It had the potential to
leak small amounts of information at a time, but could include usernames and passwords.
Hundreds of thousands of web sites rely on OpenSSL to scramble sensitive data.
The flaw is mostly fixed now, but was any of your information leaked before April?
Researchers at Berkeley National Laboratory and the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center don't think so. In a recent study
no evidence of exploitation was found in the last few months across thousands of networks. Still, your best bet is to simply
change your password and perhaps your username to the sites that hold your personal information.
As always, check your account regularly and notify the Bank of any improper transactions or login activity.

the State or Tribal lands in which the bet or wager is initiated, received, or
Therefore, please be advised that your business/organization is
prohibited from engaging in any restricted transaction(s) using any account(s)
that you maintain with the North Side Bank & Trust Company.
